I really don't journal enough... seeing as my last one was in March...Oh well!

Had some bad news about a week ago, my lovely handsome Andalusian X boy, Figaro, had been acting up for about 6 months, bucking, bolting, refusing to move in an outline, not bending, refusing to jump or catleaping over them when he did =/ Yet he was still a total gentleman on the ground, so confused! I had everything checked, saddle fitted fine, back had been massaged an manipulated till i couldnt afford any more lol (and she found nothing), teeth fine, i don't ride him in a bit anymore so it wasn't that, and he didn't have any obvious injuries or ailments. so i called the vet out a week ago, as i had a horrible feeling it might be something deeper that only an xray could see. Vet comes, trots him up etc etc and says he needs an xray along his spine and right hock, as he suspects most likely kissing spines =[ My poor kid, 10 yrs old, never done any strenuous work and now this =[

To top it all off, insurance has said they don't cover vets fees in my policy so if it's expensive, i'd have to pay for it, and i can't afford that with University and all =/ just not possible, so i'd have to either not do the surgery, and hope he gets better with working in a pessoa for a year (which is touh anyway and i'd still be paying board for a horse i can't ride) OR i sell him to someone with the view to fix him =/ Yeah. Bumm. So not in a very good mood at the moment, just waiting till tuesday to go get x-rayed.
